Toiduseaduse muudatus loob paremad tingimused toidukäitlejatele

Valitsus kiitis heaks maaeluministri esitatud toiduseaduse muudatuse, mis loob toidukäitlejatele paremad tingimused ettevõtlusega tegelemiseks.

„Seadusemuudatuste üks eesmärke on vähendada toidukäitlejate halduskoormust,“ selgitas maaeluminister Arvo Aller. Nii näiteks asendatakse osas toidukäitlemise valdkondades tegevusloakohustus teatamiskohustusega; selle eesmärk on loobuda riigisisesest loakohustusest ja nõuda tegevusluba valdkondades, mida reguleerivad Euroopa Liidu vahetult kohalduvad määrused. „Rõhutan samas, et käitlejatele jäävad kehtima kõik nõuded, mis käsitlevad toidu ohutust ja hügieeni,” ütles minister.
